At Construction of the H.E.A.R.T., we believe stable housing can be the first step toward a stronger future. Our mission is to provide safe, affordable independent shared housing for adults who need a stable place to live while working toward greater independence.

We serve individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including adults experiencing housing instability, veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities, people returning to the community after incarceration, and working adults who need affordable housing options.

🏡 Independent Shared Housing

We provide affordable shared living environments for adults who are able to live independently. Residents have access to furnished living spaces and shared common areas in a structured, community-focused environment.

Housing rates can start as low as $850 per month, with household utilities included.

Rates may vary depending on the housing location, room type, availability, and individual placement needs.

🤝 Referral & Community Partnerships

We welcome referrals from case managers, hospitals, social service agencies, reentry programs, veteran organizations, community organizations, churches, and other referral partners.

Our goal is to work together to help individuals move from housing instability toward stability and independence.

💼 Employment & Economic Stability

We help connect residents with employment opportunities and community resources that can support long-term financial stability. Assistance may include job-search guidance, resume preparation, interview readiness, and referrals to workforce-development resources.

🚐 Community Resource Connections

When residents need services beyond housing, we help connect them with appropriate community resources, including transportation resources, healthcare providers, benefits assistance, food resources, behavioral-health providers, recovery programs, and other supportive services.

🌱 A Path Toward Independence

Construction of the H.E.A.R.T. is about more than providing a place to stay. We want residents to have an opportunity to build stability, establish goals, increase independence, and prepare for their next chapter.

Who May Qualify?

Applicants should be able to live independently and provide:

• Valid proof of identification

• Verification of income or proof of a financial sponsor

• Ability to follow household and program guidelines

• Ability to pay the applicable monthly housing fee

No credit score requirement.
